Case Study - Knight Heating and Air Conditioning

Admittedly I had quite a bit of fun with this one. The company didn't have a lot of branding provided other than the logo, and a photo of the owners. So I created a color palette from the logo and created a few design elements centered around it. I also pulled elements from their design at the time that they wanted to keep, such as the castle background for the hero image, and the color green, which was very prevalent.

The fun didn't really stop with the design either. There were some new challenges to overcome to try to match the design that I was unfamiliar with at the time. The blurred background filter, creating a double border on the buttons with an after element, so they could color change on hover, the "Read More" on the banners on hover.

This was built in Online Access's proprietary PagePilot system, but mainly built using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
